Turn off the server and peripheral devices and remove the top cover.

Touch a metal part of the server to discharge static electricity.

Remove the riser card.
Loosen the screws that fix the riser card and rear side of the server, then pull up and remove the
riser card.

Remove the slot cover from the riser card.
Pull out the screws, and remove the slot cover.
Screw
Be sure to keep the removed slot cover for later use.
