Installing internal options

If internal options have been purchased separately, install them before installing the operating system.
Make sure to check the following manuals before perform-
ing operations.

n Precautions before installing the OS
When using the following external optional devices, take
note of the following before installing the OS.
- USB optional devices other than FDD units
Install USB optional devices other than FDD unit after in-
stalling the OS.
- PRIMERGY SX35
When RAID is configured using the hard disk units in
the PRIMERGY SX35, delete the RAID configuration
first. After installing the OS, create a RAID configuration
again.
- External storage system such as the ETERNUS disk
storage systems
Do not turn the storage system on until OS installation has
completed.
