Enabling/Disabling GVRP (GARP VLAN Registration Protocol)

set gvrp

Use this command to enable or disable GVRP globally in the switch or on a per-port basis.
set gvrp {disable | enable} [port_string]
Syntax Description
disable | enable
port_string
Command Defaults
If port_string is not specified, GVRP is globally disabled or enabled.
Command Mode
Read-Write.
Examples
This example shows how to enable GVRP globally on the switch:
Matrix>set gvrp enable
GVRP enabled.
This example shows how to disable GVRP:
Matrix>set gvrp disable
GVRP disabled.
This example shows how to enable GVRP on Gigabit Ethernet front panel port 1:
Matrix>set gvrp enable ge.0.1
GVRP enabled on port ge.0.1.

Disables or enables GVRP on the switch.
(Optional) Specifies which port(s) will have GVRP
enabled or disabled. For a detailed description of possible
port_string values, refer to Section 4.1.2.
