Diesel engine malfunctions

Engine does not start or is not easy
to start
Engine starts, but does not run
smoothly or faultless
Engine overheats

Contact a Wacker Neuson service center in case of malfunctions or signs
that are not listed in the following tables or that cannot be rectified with
specified measures.
Possible cause
Empty fuel tank
Malfunctioning or empty bat-
tery
Malfunctioning fuse
Control lever base not raised
Air in fuel system
Water in fuel system
Engine oil level too low
Dirty air filter
Dirty radiator fins
Coolant level too low
Malfunctioning or insuffi-
ciently tightened V-belt
Dirty air filter
Oil level too high
The coolant temperature is
too high
Remedy
Refueling
Have the battery replaced
by an authorized service
center
Check the fuse
Raise the control lever

Let the engine run
Empty the water separator
