Route the cables well clear of electrical machines and switching elements.

Note!
• Install the transmitter in a shady location.
Avoid direct sunlight, particularly in warm climatic regions.
• At ambient temperatures below –20 °C (–4 °F) the readability of the display may be impaired.
• In the case of heated pipes, or pipes with cold fluids, it is permitted to completely insulate the
measuring tube with the mounted ultrasonic sensors.
The storage temperature corresponds to the ambient temperature range of the transmitter, the
measuring tube, the sensors and the corresponding sensor cable → ä 82.

Drinking Water Approval: 0 to +60 °C (+32 to +140 °F)
Perfect measurement requires that the static fluid pressure is higher than vapor pressure. The
maximum nominal pressure is PN 16 (16 bar / 232 psi).
There is no pressure loss.
Pressure loss occurs if adapters are used upstream and downstream of the device. The corresponding
values can be taken from the chart → ä 16.
