Calculation example (mass flow, liquid):
Given: Promass 40 E, DN 25, flow = 8000 kg/h
Repeatability: ±0.25% ± [1/2 x (zero point stability / measured value) x 100]% o.r.
Repeatability → ±0.25% ± 1/2 ⋅
When there is a difference between the temperature for zero point adjustment and the
process temperature, the typical measured error of the Promass sensor is ±0.0003% of
the full scale value / °C.
The effect on accuracy of mass flow due to a difference between calibration pressure
and process pressure is negligible in the DN 8 ...40 range.
At DN 50 the effect is -0.009% o.r. / bar (o.r. = of reading).

Install the device at a shady location. Avoid direct sunlight, particularly in warm climatic
regions.
