Prosonic Flow W
• Cable material made of PVC (standard) or PTFE (for higher temperatures)
• Cable length: 5 to 60 m (16.4 to 196.8 ft)
Note!
To ensure correct measuring results, route the connecting cable well clear of electrical machines
and switching elements.
AC: < 18 VA (incl. sensor)
DC: < 10 W (incl. sensor)
Switch-on current:
• max. 13.5 A (< 50 ms) at 24 V DC
• max. 3 A (< 5 ms) at 260 V AC
Lasting min. 1 power cycle:
EEPROM and T-DAT save measuring system data if the power supply fails
For potential equalization, no special measures are necessary. With regard to devices suitable for
potentially explosive atmospheres, please refer to the information in the Ex-specific supplementary
documentation.

Performance characteristics

• Fluid temperature: +20 to +30 °C
• Ambient temperature: +22 °C ± 2 K
• Warm-up period: 30 minutes
• Sensors and transmitter are grounded.
• The measuring sensors are correctly installed.
At a flow velocity of > 0.3m/s (1 ft/s) and a Reynolds number > 10000, the following error limits
of the measuring device are guaranteed:
Nominal diameter
DN 300 to 2000 (12 to 80")
o.r. = of reading
Note!
The Prosonic Flow 93C Inline sensor is also available without factory flow calibration. The error
limits without calibration are ±1.5 % o.r. ± 3 mm/s
±0.3 % for flow velocity > 0.3 m/s (1 ft/s)
Guaranteed error limits of the device
±0.5 % o.r. ± 3 mm/s
