Starter motor does not

Possible Cause
1.
Open circuit, dirty or loose
connections.
2.
Bad starter relay.
3.
Bad ignition switch.
4.
Worn starter motor, bad
starter solenoid, or internal
problem in engine.
5.
Dead battery.
6.
Travel select lever not in
neutral.
7.
Bad neutral start relay.

1.
Clean and tighten connections at battery and starter.
Check wiring and connections between ignition switch
and starter solenoid.
2.
Replace starter relay.
3.
Replace switch.
4.
Repair or replace starter, replace solenoid, or see engine
manual.
5.
Recharge or replace battery.
6.
Place lever in "N" position.
7.
Replace relay.
