7. Pull the brake cable carefully out on the
brake side.
The brake cable is led through the hoist
frame from the brake side to the motor
side. Pay attention to how the brake
cable is led through the hoist frame.
NOTE
When you have installed the new brake,
you must lead the brake cable again
from the brake side back to the motor
side.
8. Check that the brake data of the
replacement brake matches with the data
of the original brake.
You can find the brake data in the sticker
that is attached to the brake.
9. Remove the three screws that hold the
brake in place.
