Checking the lubrication of the chain
Maintaining the chain is one of the most important service tasks of a chain hoist. Lubrication,
including the initial lubrication of the chain, is part of the chain maintenance. If you do not
maintain the chain properly, the lifetime of the chain and the complete chain drive reduces
drastically. Failing to maintain the chain can result in a failure of the chain.
1. Check the proper and sufficient lubrication of the chain visually between the chain links.
