Pull the bayonet latch back to disengage the top panel.

Unscrew the blast shield and slide it up, out of its
mounting slot. The thumbscrew attached to the blast
shield is a cpative screw, so it will not fall off of the blast
shield.

After replacing the blast shield, close the top panel. The blast shield can only be inserted and the thumbscrew attached in
one orientation.
8.
Engage the bayonet latch by pushing it in.
9.
Loosley tighten the bayonet latch locking screw.
10. Reattach the decorative strip at the top of the rear panel.

Lift the top panel (tabletop) and set the holding bar to
hold the top panel up.

Blast Shield Re-
moved

From both sides, look at a light source through the
window at an angle to visualize the window's surfaces.
Any debris, soiling, or damage to the optical coating
should be evident. The blast shield can be inspected (for
soiling or debris), and, if damaged, should be replaced.
