Description
Query Response
Example
The following constitutes an instrument state: single/
continuous measurement mode, power bar on/off, nor-
mal/fast update, frequency units, elevation, peak excur-
sion, peak threshold, power offset, wavelength limit on/
off, wavelength limit start, wavelength limit stop, and
signal-to-noise average count.
The *SRE (service request enable) command sets the
bits in the service request enable register.
<integer> is defined as an integer mask from 0 to 255.
The *SRE? query returns the value of the service
request enable register.
The service request enable register contains a mask
value for the bits to be enabled in the status byte regis-
ter. A bit set to one in the service request enable regis-
ter enables the corresponding bit in the status byte
register to generate a service request. A zero disables
the bit. The following table lists the bits in the service
request enable register and what they mask.
The service request enable register is cleared when the
instrument is turned on. The *RST and *CLS com-
mands do not change the register.
