The parameters of this setting depend on the pre-set setpoint source

SETPOINT E1 (M4100)
Initial and end value via the Profibus DP interface
In Profibus DP standard version, the setpoint E1 is transmitted via the pro-
cess representation.
The input range is 0 – 100 percent or 0 – 1,000 per mil. The change-over
between percent and per mil is made via the "Format of analogue Indica-
tions" parameter in the GSD file.
Initial and end value via I/O interface
Optionally, setpoint E1 can be transmitted via an analogue input instead of
the fieldbus (channel 1 or channel 2). This is possible for the following ver-
sions:
a) in addition to the Profibus DP interface, the AUMATIC is equipped with a
further parallel interface (refer to page 83)
b) the AUMATIC is equipped with additional control inputs (refer to page 80)
The input range amounts to 0/4 – 20 mA. It is possible to modify the input
range via the display for both versions:
