LONG STORAGE

To avoid personal injury or death:
A Do not clean the machine with the engine running.
A To avoid the danger of exhaust fume poisoning, do not operate the engine in a closed building or any areas
without proper ventilation.
A When storing, remove the key from the starter switch to avoid unauthorized persons from operating the
machine and getting injured.
A Bring the machine on a firm, flat, and level surface. Lower the lift arms on the ground.
B Should the Machine be Stored for a Longer Period of Time, Observe Following Procedures:
1. The whole machine should be cleaned thoroughly and in all cases stored indoors. If the machine has to be kept
outdoors, lay out wooden planks on even ground, place the machine on the planks and cover completely.
2. Do an oil change and grease the machine.
3. Heavily grease the visible section of the cylinder rods.
4. Remove the battery and store indoors.
5. If it is expected that the temperature will sink below the 0
6. Inflate the tires to the recommended pressure shown in the operator's manual.
7. Fulfill the fuel tank and the hydraulic oil tank.
A Wash the machine after stopping the engine.
If you wash the machine while running the engine, splashing water gets into the air cleaner through its intake and cause
engine damage.
Carefully, wash and do not splash water over the air cleaner while the engine is running.
B Observe Following Procedures when the Machine is to be Operated after Long Storage.
1. Wipe off the grease from the hydraulic cylinder rods.
2. Turn on the engine and operate the attachments and the drive mechanisms under no load in order to circulate the
hydraulic oil.
(If the machine is stored for longer than one month, do steps 1 and 2 once every month.)
, add anti-freeze or drain coolant completely.
