Check that cables are correctly connected to the electronics.
•
If single side measurement is used and only load cell A or load cell B is connected to the
electronics, check that a shorting wire is connected between terminals X1:7 and X1:8 or
X1:3 and X1:4.

Switch off the tension electronics and measure the resistance between terminals X1:3
and X1:8.
The resistance is > 8 ohm:
Check that the total cable resistance between electronics and load cells does not
exceed 5 ohm. If cable resistance does not exceed 5 ohm, check cabling and load
cells.
The resistance is < 7 ohm:
If cabling is correct, the electronics is probably defect.
Replace PFEA111/112.
Check:
•
that the bus is correctly terminated.
•
the Profibus address.
•
cabling and connectors.
Check the cabling and shield.
If the cabling is correct the tension electronics is probably defect.
Replace PFEA111/112.
