Split Flow Interface

Use the following procedures to remove and install the split flow interface (SFI) from the
VERITY 1910 MS Detector.

Remove the Split Flow Interface
1. Ensure the VERITY 1910 MS Detector is in standby mode and the nitrogen flush is active.
2. open the door on the front cover.
NOTICE
3. Disconnect the high voltage connector from the SFI to the high voltage output located at
the front of the VERITY 1910 MS Detector (Figure 35).
4. Unscrew the PEEK collar from the assembly.
5. Gently slide the SFI out the assembly.
NOTICE
6. Fit a dust cap over the exposed vac-chip assembly.

High voltages are present in the spraychip assembly when it is in operation. Incorrect
installation of the assembly could make it electrically unsafe. To prevent any risk
of injury, please carefully follow the instructions provided to install the spraychip
assembly.
Feed the PEEK tubing through the cutouts when opening or closing the door.
