Install the spraychip
1. Follow steps 1–7 of Remove the spraychip on page 55
2. carefully screw a new (or cleaned) spraychip into the assembly.
NOTICE
Do not use a tool and do not overtighten the spraychip.
3. Fasten the spraychip into the SFI using the grub screw. The assembled SFI will look as
shown in Figure 26.
The orientation of the spraychip will vary when fitted. Refer to
NOTE
Split Flow Interface (SFI) Orientations on page 23.
4. Align the SFI (with installed spraychip) with the opening in the vac-chip assembly.
5. Gently slide the SFI into the assembly until the PEEK screw reaches the threaded section
of the vac-chip assembly.
NOTICE
Ensure that the spraychip does not collide with the metalwork.
6. Screw the PEEK collar into the assembly until finger tight.
If there is resistance when tightening the screw, stop, remove the assembly, and repeat

steps 4–6.
7. connect the high voltage connector from the SFI to the high voltage output located at the
front of the VERITY 1910 MS Detector (Figure 24).
8. close the door on the front cover.
Ensure the PEEK tubing lines from the SFI are fed through the cutouts in the door
