10. Lay the assembly face down on a clean lint-free surface.
● The tube lens assembly is
attached to the vac-chip
flange with five vacuum
screws. The vac-chip is
located under this assembly.
11. Use a Phillips screwdriver
to partially unscrew the five
vacuum screws in the following
pattern: 1, 4, 2, 5, 3 (Figure 20).
Repeat until the screws are
loose.

12. Gently lift the tube lens assembly away from the vac-chip flange.
13. Use a pair of tweezers to remove the vac-chip from the flange (Figure 22).
The vac‑chip can become stuck on the tube lens assembly. Check that it is not before

resting the assembly to one side.
