LED Status Indicators
There are four lED status indicators on the front panel of the
VERITY 1910 MS Detector. They are used to indicate the current
operational status of the instrument.
reD
Indicates that an error has occurred. User intervention will be
required to rectify the fault.
OraNGe
Indicates that the VERITY 1910 MS Detector is acquiring data
(mass scanning).
GreeN
When lit, indicates that the hardware interlock is engaged.
When unlit, the hardware interlock is not engaged. Refer to
Safety Interlock on page 43.
YeLLOW
When lit, indicates that the VERITY 1910 MS Detector
is in operate mode. When unlit, indicates that the
VERITY 1910 MS Detector is in standby mode.
USB Port
The USB port available on the VERITY 1910 MS Detector is primarily used to facilitate file
transfer, but any USB device can be connected to the front or rear panel of the MS detector.
Power Button
The power button is used to power the VERITY 1910 MS Detector on or off once the power
switch on the rear panel of the MS detector has been switched on.
NOTICE
High Voltage Connection
The high voltage connection provides power to the split flow interface and installed
spraychip®.

InSTallaTIon
The VERITY 1910 MS Detector must be shut down using software control or via approved
manual operation. Never shut down the VERITY 1910 MS Detector by disconnecting the
power supply or by simply switching the power switch on the rear panel. Only power the
VERITY 1910 MS Detector on when directed.
