3.6 Clocks
3.6.1 Clock Generator
Enable and stop of the clock oscillation is controlled by stop mode.

l Crystal or ceramic resonator
Connect as shown in Figure 3.6.1a.
Note: A piezoelectric resonator (FAR series) that contains the external capacitors can also be used.

External clock

Connect an external clock to the X0 pin and leave the X1 pin open, as shown in Figure 3.6.1b.
