Section 5: Parts and Module Replacement

5.2.36DMD Heat Pipe Assembly

Replacement Time: 80 minutes

Procedure:

1. Remove Light Engine. See
2. Remove Foam Block.
3. Peel back Copper Tape.
4. Remove spring loaded screws (4). See Figure 5-56.
5. Carefully lift off Heat Pipe Assembly.
6. Replace Heat Pipe Assembly.

Replacement Time: 85 minutes
1. Remove Light Engine. See
2. Remove DMD Heat Pipe Assembly. See
3. Remove Dynamic Aperture. See
4. Remove screws (4). See Figure 5-57.
5. Lift off DMD Board.
6. Remove DMD from Light Engine.
7. Replace DMD.
