Test Equipment Needed

The following is a list of equipment that will be required for the performance verification checks and
calibration procedures outlined in the rest of this section.
• IBM PC with WUXGA/1080p resolution
• HDTV Source (480P, 720P, 1080P).
• Minolta CL-100 or equivalent.
• Color Video Signal & Pattern Generator (Quantum Data 802B or CHROMA2327)

Required Updates

Table 3.2 indicates updates that are required as a result of changing specific parts. Look down the "Change
Parts" column for the component to be changed. Where a "v" is encountered, perform the update in the heading
at the left end of that row. (eg. for Color Wheel replacement, update the Color Wheel Index).

NOTE: If color appears abnormal after changing Main Board Module, enter the Factory Mode to perform
Color Wheel index adjustment.
• After changing parts, use Table 3.2 to determine appropriate updates to be performed.
• After changing the F-type Fan (FAN6, FAN7, FAN8, FAN9), perform the F-type FAN calibration.
