Remove the communication board.

Remove the server drive assemblies
Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have a No. 2 Phillips screwdriver available.
Release the server drive SATA cables from the middle frame:
1.
Press the release button on the SATA cables, and then disconnect the cables from the system

board.
Release the SATA cables from the middle frame cable clips.
b.
Remove the server drive 2, and then remove the server drive 1 by using the same procedure:

Loosen the captive screws.

To release the drive carrier from the middle frame, pull the tab towards the front end of server,

and then lift the drive from the system board.
Disconnect the SATA-power Y-cable from the drive.
