Install the server fan
Attach the rubber caps to the fan.

Install the fan.
2.
The fan guard side of the fan must face the ventilation slots of the chassis. In this position, the airflow
arrow markings on the fan point to the chassis exterior.
Connect the fan cable to the system board

If installed, remove the communication board (on page 23).

Remove the system battery (on page 46).

To replace the system battery, reverse the removal procedure.
