Turn/hazard light Electrical light - Testing (A.40.A.13.85 - G.40.A.20)
N° Test Point
1 Place Hazard Switch in the "ON" po-
sition.
Measure the voltage at LH Header
Flashing Lamp connector X303 (pin
A).
2 Disconnect the LH Header Flashing
Lamp.
Measure the resistance on circuit
775 (BK) and 776 (BK) between the
LH Header Flasher Lamp connector
X303 (pin B) and ground.

1 Place Hazard Switch in the "ON" po-
sition.
Measure the voltage at RH Header
Flashing Lamp connector X304 (pin
A).
2 Disconnect the RH Header Flashing
Lamp.
Measure the resistance on circuit
775 (BK) and 776 (BK) between the
RH Header Flasher Lamp connector
X304 (pin B) and ground.
DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS - LIGHTING SYSTEM
Expected Result
0 - 12 volts.
If good reading, go to next test point.
Less than 1 ohm.
If good reading, replace the bulb.
Expected Result
0 - 12 volts.
If good reading, go to next test point.
Less than 1 ohm.
If good reading, replace the bulb.

Other Result (Possible Cause)
Open circuit 613 (PU) between
Flasher Module connector X255 (pin
3) and LH Header Flashing Lamp
connector X303 (pin A).
Short to ground on circuit 613 (PU)
between Flasher Module connector
X255 (pin 3) and LH Header Flash-
ing Lamp connector X303 (pin A).

Go to next test point.
Open in circuit 775 (BK) or 776 (BK)
between LH Header Flashing Lamp
connector X303 (pin B) and ground.
Other Result (Possible Cause)
Open circuit 618 (PU) between
Flasher Module connector X255 (pin
4) and RH Header Flashing Lamp
connector X304 (pin A).
Short to ground on circuit 613 (PU)
between Flasher Module connector
X255 (pin 4) and RH Header Flash-
ing Lamp connector X304 (pin A).
