The following performance assurance tests check the operation of the CCM. These tests should
be performed upon completion of installation and setup, whenever an assembly of the CCM has
been changed, or as part of troubleshooting to verify proper system operation.
The performance assurance tests check the following functions:
1. Equipment power on and self-test
2. Admit and discharge functions
3. Print and record functions
4. High and low ECG alarms from the bedside
5. If arrhythmia is present:
a. Admit and assign arrhythmia functions
b. Learn signal functions
c. Alarm functions, including alarm validation
d. Paced signal functions

name and the wave selected. Proceed to the procedure to check the recording and print
