Pulling Cables
When pulling cables, certain cables always run together: For example, cables for DC-DC, VIDEO
and HP-HIL would run to the vicinity of the Master Display. All cables, except for Slave Video,
are pulled away from the Computer Module end towards the Display Module or Rack end. The
Slave Video cable is always pulled away from the previous display.

The DC/DC and Rack cables carry 60 V DC. Check with local safety codes to
see if conduit is required.
Single Faceplate Cabling
Pull the cables out of the faceplate box 1OOmm (4") at the Computer Module end to allow for
termination by HP personnel.
Double Faceplate Cabling _
Pull the cables, including Slave Video, out of the faceplate box, leaving 1OOmm (4") at the
Computer Module end to allow for termination by HP personnel. If more than 1OOmm (4") is
left at the Display Module/Rack end, leave the excess cable to allow for re-termination by HP
Personnel.
