Step 6
Loosely fasten the base to the posts using four screws (0515-1237). Deep cabinets
may require the supplied extenders to be added to the side guides in order to
fasten the rear of the base to the rear posts.
Check that the rack mount base is level and tighten the screws. If the base is not
level, re-check the holes which were selected in Step 1 and re-install the base.
Install the equipment onto the base asfollo&:
1. Ensure that the locking cam is pointing directly out of the rear of the
equipment.
2. Place the equipment onto the base with the equipment feet in the base
receptacles.
3. Rotate the locking cam clockwise to lock the equipment into place.
1. If you are mounting heavy equipment (over 25 kg [50 lbs]) the
installation
must always be performed by !IWO people.
2. If mounting a Computer Module and 14" Display Module combined,
ensure that the equipment is properly
cam-locked together, using the
procedures described earlier in this chapter.
Note
Ensure that the equipment is sitting square in the base before continuing to fit
n
the bezel.

Carefully place the bezel around the instrument front panel.
Fasten the bezel to the front mounting posts with stainless steel screws (0515-1117)
and plastic washers (2190-0693).
