CPU
The Utility CPU is a master function card responsible for several interfaces, synchronization
and all the clock signals for the HP Component Central Monitor. The Utility CPU is based
around a 68000 microprocessor and stores the configuration of the system on a 32-kilobyte
EEPROM.
