Removing and Replacing Components
Servicing the Computer Module
'lb Remove the Plastic Side Covers
The procedure for removing the plastic side covers is described in the following steps.
Step 1
Grip the side cover and slide sideways towards the front of the computer module.
Step 2
Tilt the cover away from the side of the computer module.
Step 3
Lift tabs on the bottom of the cover out of the slots in the side of the computer
module and lift clear of the computer module.
lb Replace the Plastic Side Covers
The procedure for replacing the plastic side covers is described in the following steps.
Step 1
Locate the tabs on the bottom of the cover into the lower slots on the side of the
computer module.
Step 2 Tilt the top of the cover so it lays flat against the side of the computer module.
Step 3
Slide the cover towards the back of the computer module so that the tabs lock the
panel in place.
