1. Connect the 15-pin Male connector of the 1.5m signal cable to the video connector on the
rear of the display.
2. Connect the other end of the signal cable to the 15-pin Female connector on the adapter
cable.
3. Connect the g-pin Male connector at the other end of adapter cable to the rear of the
function box.
4. Plug the power cord into the wall power outlet.
5. Switch the monitoring instrument on, then the display. See the user's guide for the display
for a display performance assurance test.

1. Connect the 15-pin Male connector of the 1.5m signal cable to the 15-pin Female connector
on the adapter cable.
2. Attach the g-pin Male connector at the other end of the adapter cable to the faceplate near
the display. The faceplate should be terminated with a g-pin Female connection of cable
M1181A-#A2A (or A2C).
3. Attach the g-pin Female connector of cable M1181A-#A22 (or A21) to the faceplate nearest
the function box. The faceplate should be terminated with the g-pin Male connector of the
M1181A-#A2A or #A2C.
4. Connect the g-pin Male connector of cable M1181A-#A22 (or A21) to the function box.
