21.4 Deleting the data recorder

When importing a configuration via USB stick (chap. 22.3.2) and when loading a new firmware version by
BINDER service, the entire data memory is deleted.
BINDER service can also install the configuration by means of a setup program without deleting the data.
Regardless of this, BINDER Service can delete the data via a setup program
Loading a new configuration via USB-Stick leads to deleting the data recorder.
Danger of information loss.
 Backup data prior to loading a new configuration.

22.1

Using the USB connection during chamber operation

• Turn the pressure regulator to the end stop of the lock nuts (turn clockwise). The manometer then
shows maximum pressure.
• Open the USB cover on the triangle instrument box
• Observe the display of the manometer: The overpressure must not drop below 25 Pa (recommendati-
on: 40 Pa).
• Connect the USB stick.
If the USB stick shall remain on the chamber for a longer time, the pressure can be reset to an over-
pressure of at least 25 Pa (recommendation: 40 Pa) on the pressure regulator.
• Remove the USB stick when it is no longer needed
• Close the USB cover on the triangle instrument box.
• Now the pressure regulator can be turned back (turn counterclockwise) until there is an overpressure
of at least 25 Pa (recommendation: 40 Pa)..

22.2 MB2 controller

The USB port is located in the instrument panel.
When you insert a USB-stick, the "USB" menu opens.
Depending on the user's authorization level, different functions (highlighted in black) are available for the
logged-in user.
