A1 Appendix assembly instructions (initial assembly)
A1.1 Preparations
• It is essential that the PTO shaft is switched off for all care, maintenance, repair and
assembly work on the rotary swather.
• Shut down the engine and remove the ignition key.
• Secure tractor and rotary swather against rolling away!
• Use only suitable and approved tools to assemble and disassemble the machine.
(Danger of tipping over!)
Some parts of the machine are not completely assembled
while the machine is shipped. Following is a list of assembly
tasks that must be completed before using the machine for
the first time. Since safety equipment also must be assembled
in some cases, the machine must not be placed in operation
before these tasks have been completely performed!
The front and rear rotor running gears must be switched
while the machine is in transport position.
A1.2 Mounting the wheels on the
running gear
Use only suitable and approved tools
to mount wheels. (Danger of tipping
over!)
• Raise the running gear.
• Mount the wheels (1) and secure with clamping
sleeve, bolt and nut (2).
• Mount the track control arm (3) and secure with
clamping sleeve (4).
