5.6 Adjustable throttles
You can use the adjustable throttles to adjust the
lowering speeds of the rotors on the machine.
The throttles are set in the factory so that the rotor is
raised into the headland position or out of the headland
position into the working position with a time delay
(front, centre, rear).
To allow for different types of tractors and oil pressures,
the throttles may need to be readjusted.werden.
Throttle 1
Lowering speed of the front rotor
•
Loosen the Allen screw (c).
•
Screw the stud bolt (d) in or out.
(Unscrewing it increases the flow of oil and thus
increases the speed at which the front rotor is
lowered.)
Throttle 2
Lowering speed of the centre rotor
•
Loosen the Allen screw (c).
•
Screw the stud bolt (d) in or out.
(Unscrewing it increases the flow of oil and thus
increases the speed at which the centre rotor is
lowered.)
Throttle 3
Lowering speed of the rear rotor
•
Loosen the Allen screw (c).
•
Screw the stud bolt (d) in or out.
(Unscrewing it increases the flow of oil and thus
increases the speed at which the rear rotor is
lowered.)
Even the tiniest adjustment to the stud
bolt or throttle stud bolts can cause a
great change in the lowering speed.
After an adjustment has been made to the
throttles, lock the hexagonal nuts and
Allen head screw. Then test the
functionality.
