Learn how to replace the various electrical components in the projector.

Replacing the option cards

The projector comes standard with an IMXB. Some legacy projectors may also be provided with a high
bandwidth multiple input card (HBMIC).
1. On the option card you want to remove, loosen the two captive screws on the faceplate and
pull out the option card.
2. Replace the option card.
3. To re-install, follow these steps in reverse order.

Replacing the user interface module

Complete the following steps to install the user interface module on 4K40-RGB Series.
1. Open the optical access door.
2. Disconnect the J30 (system interface) and J32 (CLB interface) harnesses from the back of the
user interface module.
3. Remove the ground harness.
4. Remove the harnesses from the clip.
5. Remove the 10 7 mm nuts and remove the user interface from the door.
Make sure to retain the nuts.
Some models may have 12 nuts.
