Replacing the dual temperature sensor module
(DTSM)
The dual temperature sensor module (DTSM) monitors the ambient air temperature going into the
projector.
1. Remove the side-intake cover (on page 35).
2. Disconnect the DTSM inline harness connector J82.
It is mounted directly to the radiator.
3. Remove the screw securing the DTSM and remove the board.
4. Replace the DTSM.
5. To re-install, follow these steps in reverse order.

Replacing the color sensor board (CSBD)

The color sensor board (CSBD) measures the color of the light being generated by the optics. It is
used in a feedback loop to ensure that the output color of the image is stable as the lasers age.
If upgrading the CSBD from version 4.2 to 6.0, refer to the Upgrading the color sensor board
instruction sheet (P/N: 020-103100-XX).
1. To access the CSBD, flip the projector on either its top or sides.
Alternatively, you can raise the leveling feet to their maximum position.
2. Remove the bottom cover (on page 36).
3. Remove the CSBD cover to access the CSBD.
Depending on the version of the CSBD cover, you will need to remove one or two captive
screws.
