Removing the Front Drive Backplane
Step 1 Wear an ESD wrist strap. For details, see
Step 2 Power off the server. For details, see
Step 3 Remove the power cables. For details, see

Step 5 Remove the chassis cover. For details, see
Step 6 Remove the air duct. For details, see
Step 7 Remove all front drives. For details, see

Step 9 Press and hold down the latches on both sides of a fan module bracket, and lift
the fan module bracket. See

Step 10 Remove all cables from the drive backplane. For details, see
Step 11 Hold down and open the latches on the backplane, lift the backplane as far as it
