Accessories

CAUTION
Risk of accidents due to unsecured screw connections.
When screw connections with thread locks are loosened,
they must be replaced with new thread locks or secured
with a medium-strength liquid thread lock substance (e.g.
EuroLock A24.20).
After the power wheelchair has been adjusted or readjust-
ed, the attachment screws and/or nuts must be firmly
retightened. Observe any torque settings which may be
specified.

Only original accessories provided by the manufacturer
may be used. The optional components may only be mount-
ed as described here.
INFORMATION
All available optional add-on components are contained on
the order form and in the accessories catalogue.
The Skippi Plus power wheelchair has been designed as a
modular system. Certain modules can be exchanged and
other accessories can be added. The control unit allows for
Skippi Plus
the addition of numerous additional electrical functions and
specially adapted input devices.
The complete range of options is listed on the order form
and in the wheelchair accessories catalogue. Some impor-
tant options are described in more detail below.

Electric seat options

7.1.1 Safety instructions

The power wheelchair can be equipped with a range of op-
tional electric seat functions.
WARNING
Risk of falling while driving with electric seat options.
„ Drive in street traffic only with the seat tilt and seat height
adjustments lowered and with a vertical backrest.
„ Drive with the seat raised or with the seat tilt/back angle
adjustment activated only for short distances at home.
Always use the speed level 1 for this. Note that the field
of vision is limited when driving.
„ Slightly tilt the seat to the rear when driving forwards
down inclines or over obstacles (e.g. curbs) and reduce
the speed.
