Maintenance and care
INFORMATION
The control unit emits an error signal on the control panel if
the joystick is activated while the brake is disengaged. If
this is not the case, there is a malfunction which must be
corrected by a specialist dealer immediately.

Replace the fuses

The fuses (for values see section "Technical data" > table
"Electrical system") are located respectively in one of the
fuse holders on the bottom of the battery packs (see fig. 52).
1. Remove the batteries (see section 6.5).
2. Remove the fuses on the bottom of the battery packs.
3. Insert the new fuses in the holders between the contacts
on the bottom of the batteries. Ensure that the fuses are
centred in the corresponding spring-loaded contacts
and don't sit at an angle.
4. Reinstall the batteries (see section 6.5).

Replacing the tyres/inner tubes

INFORMATION
Direct sunlight (UV light) causes the tyres to age prema-
turely. As a result, the tread surface hardens and corner
pieces break out of the tread.
INFORMATION
Avoid parking the wheelchair outdoors whenever possible.
The tyres should be replaced every 2 years regardless of
wear and tear. If the wheelchair is parked for an extended
period of time or the tyres overheat (e.g. in the vicinity of
Skippi Plus
