12.2 Threshold values for wheelchairs transportable by train

INFORMATION
 The wheelchairs in this series fully satisfy the minimum technical requirements of Regulation (EU) No. 1300/2014 for
wheelchairs transportable by train. However, not all versions can comply with all threshold values due to different set-
tings.
 With the help of the table that follows, you or the qualified personnel can take measurements and verify whether your
specific wheelchair meets the threshold values.

Threshold value (according to Regulation (EU) No. 1300/2014)
1200 mm (47.2"); plus 50 mm (2") for the feet
700 mm (27.6"); plus 50 mm (2") on each side for the hands when moving
approx. 3" or greater; according to the regulation, the smallest wheel must be able
to overcome a gap measuring 75 mm (3") horizontally and 50 mm (2") vertically
max. 1375 mm (54.1"); including a 1.84 m (72.5") large male wheelchair user
(95th percentile)
