C) Starting relay (2nd relay) (located
under the footboard)
• Connect a cable with a lamp (12
Volts – 5 W) to the blue terminals
of the connector, which is fitted into
the starting relay (F.19)
• Position the change-over switch on
"ON"
The lamp does not turn on
• Check the continuity (tester
of the blue cable between the
battery and the relay, and the
continuity of the blue cable between
the relay and the starting motor.
Locate the break and repair (see
electric diagram).
The lamp turns on
• Press the push button "start"
- The lamp does not turn off or stays
on : replace the relay
- The lamp turns off completely :
continue searching
Check of the voltage to the red
cable
• Connect the tester (DC 20V) as
follows:
- Tester terminal (+): red cable
terminal
- Tester terminal (-): earthed to frame
• Actuate the brake lever (rear or front)
• Measured voltage must be 12 V
- Out of specification : red cable is
broken, repair (see electric
diagram)
- According to the specification :
continue searching.
Check the continuity of the white/
red cable
• Check the continuity between the
terminal, which is connected to the
1st relay, and the terminal, which is
connected to the 2nd relay, and the
continuity of the white/red cable
between the terminal, which is
connected to the 1st relay, and the
terminal, which is connected to the
six-way connector of the right
change-over switch (push button
"start")
C) Relais de démarrage (2 e relais)
(positionné sous le tapis du
repose-pieds).
• Placer un crampillon avec une
ampoule (12 volt – 5 W) aux cosses
bleues du connecteur introduit dans
le relais de démarrage (F. 19).
• Positionner la clef du commutateur
sur "ON".
L'ampoule ne s'allume pas

• Contrôler la continuité (testeur
x 1)
1) du câble bleu entre la batterie et
le relais et la continuité du câble
bleu entre le relais et le démarreur.
Trouver l'interruption et réparer (voir
schéma électrique).
L'ampoule s'allume
• Appuyer sur la touche "start"
- L'ampoule ne s'éteint pas, ou re-
ste faiblement allumée: changer le
relais.
- L'ampoule s'éteint tout à fait: pour-
suivre la recherche.
Vérification de la tension au câble
rouge
• Connecter le testeur (DC 20V)
comme suit:
- Borne (+) testeur: cosse câble
rouge
- Borne (-) testeur: à masse châssis
• Actionner le levier de frein (arrière
ou avant)
• La tension doit être de 12 V
- Non conforme aux indications:
câble rouge interrompu, réparer
(voir schéma électrique).
- Conforme aux indications:
poursuivre la recherche.
Contrôle de la continuité du câble
blanc/rouge
• Vérifier la continuité entre la cosse
introduite dans le 1
cosse introduite dans le 2
la continuité du câble blanc/rouge
entre la cosse introduite dans le 1
relais et la cosse introduite dans le
connecteur à six voies du
commutateur droit (touche start).

C) Relé de arranque (2° relé)
(situado debajo de la plataforma
descansapiés)
• Llevar un perno de U con una bom-
billa (12 volt – 5 W) a los terminales
azules del conector conectado en
el relé de arranque (F. 19).
• Situar la llave del conmutador en
"ON".
La bombilla no se enciende

• Controlar la continuidad (tester
1) del cable azul entre batería y relé
y continuidad cable azul entre relé
y motor de arranque. Individuar la
interrupción y reparar (ver esquema
eléctrico).
La bombilla se enciende
• Apretar el pulsador "start"
- La bombilla no se apaga, o se que-
- La bombilla se apaga totalmente:
Controlar tensión al cable rojo
• Conectar el tester (DC 20V) de la
manera siguiente:
- Terminal (+) tester: terminal cable
- Terminal (-) tester: en masa chasís
• Accionar la palanca del freno (de-
lantero o trasero)
• La tensión resultante debe ser de
12 V
- Valores diferentes a los especifi-
