3.3 Final assembly

Remove the electronics and battery dummies from their receptacles.
NOTICE
Risk of short-circuit. Do not insert the battery until the entire system has been assembled.
First connect both cables to the electronics receptacle (see Figure 37 to Figure 40).

Then connect the electronics cable to the battery. Place three to four small strips of double-
sided adhesive tape – depending on cable length – into the cable channel. Glue the cable into
the casing (Figure 41).
You may shorten the battery cable in the battery plug section. Leave approximately 5 cm addi-
tional cable length to allow for installation of the ratchet unit (Figure 42).

Ensure proper polarity is maintained after shortening the cable (see Figure 43/44): Plus ca-
ble (red) to plus connection (+ symbol on battery), minus cable (grey) to minus (no symbol).
