12.4 Start optimisation

Clamp the rim only on the balancer.
D
Enter correct rim dimensions, or check existing inputs for
correctness.
D
Starting from the main menu or the BALANCING screen
press the menu key F6 Optimisation menu.
The OPTIMISATION MENU screen (Fig. 93) is displayed.

Readjust the wheel such that the valve is exactly perpen-
dicular to and above the main shaft.
D
Enter the valve position by pressing menu key F6.
The OPTIMISATION 1 screen (Fig. 94) is displayed.

START? is signalled on the screen.
D
If necessary, go back by pressing menu key F5.
D
Press the START key.
A compensation run is performed.
The screen as shown in Fig. 95 is displayed.

Mount the tyre correctly on the rim and inflate to specified
inflation pressure (make sure the mounting guide rim of
the tyre is correctly seated).

Confirm by pressing menu key F6.
The OPTIMISATION 4 screen (Fig. 96) is displayed.

Serrer seulement la jante.
D
Entrer les dimensions de jante correctes ou vérifier que
les valeurs entrées sont correctes.

A partir du menu principal ou de l'image EQUILIBRAGE,
appuyer sur la touche F6 Menu optimisation.
L'image MENU OPTIMISATION (Fig. 93) est alors affichée.

Tourner la valve exactement perpendiculairement au-
dessus de l'arbre principal.
D
Entrer la position de la valve à l'aide de la touche F6.
L'image OPTIMISATION 1 (Fig. 94) est alors affichée.

START? est alors affiché sur l'image.

Appuyer sur la touche de menu F6 pour confirmer.
D
Appuyer sur la touche START.
La lancée de compensation est alors effectuée et Fig. 95 est
affichée.

Monter le pneu correctement sur la jante (ligne de cen-
trage) et le gonfler à la pression prescrite.

Appuyer sur la touche de menu F6 pour confirmer.
L'image OPTIMISATION 4 (Fig. 96) est alors affichée.
