Apply grease to the lip of a new upper dust seal [1].
Apply engine oil to the threads of the adjustment nut [2].
Install the upper dust seal and adjusting nut.
1. Tighten the adjustment nut [1] to the specified torque
using the special tool.
TOOL:

TORQUE: 29 N·m (3.0 kgf·m, 21 lbf·ft)
2. Turn the steering stem left and right, lock-to-lock five
times to seat the bearings.
3. Retighten the adjustment nut to the same torque.
TORQUE: 29 N·m (3.0 kgf·m, 21 lbf·ft)
