APCO P25 MODE OPERATION

Transmitting a call

APCO P25 mode operation enables you to make
a call to a specifi c station (Individual call) or to a
particular group (Group call). Other digital mode
transceivers on the channel will not receive a call that
does not match their Individual or Talkgroup ID and/or
Network Access Code (NAC).

D Transmitting an Individual call

Individual call enables to make a call to a specifi c
station, and it provides private communication.
(Menu > Signaling/Call > Individual Select)
1. Push [Menu] to display the Menu screen.
2. Push [Left] or [Right] to select "Signaling/Call,"
then push [OK].
3. Push [Up] or [Down] to select "Individual Select,"
then push [OK].
4. Select the target Individual station, then push
[PTT] to transmit an Individual call.
5. Hold down [PTT] to speak.
6. Release [PTT] to receive.
NOTE: If the following settings are confi gured
using the CS-F7500
programming software
Individual ID (or name) is displayed while receiving.

Unit ID Display on Receive)
( Digital > Option > Talkgroup Option >
Unit ID Display on Receive)
TIP: Push [Individual] to directly display the
"Individual Select" screen in step 4 above.

D Transmitting a Talkgroup call

A Talkgroup call enables to make a call to a specifi c
Talkgroup only.
The Talkgroup ID '65535' is used for the All Call.
(Menu > Signaling/Call > Group Select)
1. Push [Menu] to display the Menu screen.
2. Push [Left] or [Right] to select "Signaling/Call,"
then push [OK].
3. Push [Up] or [Down] to select "Group Select," then
push [OK].
4. Select the target Talkgroup, then push [PTT] to
transmit a Talkgroup call.
5. Hold down [PTT] to speak.
6. Release [PTT] to receive.
NOTE: If the following settings are confi gured
using the CS-F7500
Talkgroup ID (or name) is displayed:
• When the operating channel or zone is changed.
• When [PTT] is pushed.
• While receiving.
