Signaling/Call

Call Menu
In the Analog mode (MDC 1200 only)
Selects a calling destination and a call type (Call
Alert, Radio Check, Stun, Revive, and SelCall).
After selecting, push [PTT] to transmit the call to the
selected destination. (pp. 8-3 ~ 8-6)
In the Digital mode
Selects a calling destination and a call type (Status,
Short Message, Call Alert, Remote Monitor, Radio
Check, Radio Inhibit (Stun/Kill) and Radio Uninhibit
(Revive). After selecting, push [PTT] to transmit the
call to the selected destination. (pp. 7-3 ~ 7-9)
NOTE: When the call type is "Status" or "Short
Message," you can select or directly enter a
message before transmitting it. After selecting or
entering a message, push [PTT] to transmit it. See
pages 7-4 ~ 7-6 for details.
Clear Incoming
In the Digital mode
In the Analog mode (MDC 1200 only)
Clears the received call log from the Incoming list.

Clear Outgoing
In the Digital mode
Clears the transmit call log from the Outgoing list.

DTMF Autodial
Displays the "DTMF Autodial" screen. Then, push
[Up] or [Down] to select a DTMF code. After selecting,
push [PTT] to transmit the selected DTMF code.
Group Select
In the Digital mode
Displays the "Group Select" screen. Then, push [Up]
or [Down] to select a Group ID from the Group List.
After selecting, push [PTT] to transmit a Group call.

Incoming
In the Analog mode (MDC 1200 only)
In the Digital mode
Displays a log of the received Individual call, Call Alert
call, Status message, and Message. (pp. 7-12, 8-7)
Individual Select
In the Digital mode
Displays the "Individual Select" screen. Then, push
[Up] or [Down] to select a Individual ID from the
Individual ID List. After selecting, push [PTT] to send a
Individual call. (p. 7-3)
Message
In the Analog mode (MDC 1200 only)
In the Digital mode
While in the Standby mode, push to display the
"Message List" screen. Then, push [Up] or [Down] to
select a message.

Outgoing
In the Digital mode
Displays a log of the transmitted Individual calls and
Call Alert calls. (p. 7-14)
Status
In the Analog mode (MDC 1200 only)
In the Digital mode
Push to display the "Status List" screen. Then, push
[Up] or [Down] to select a Status message.
