D Transmitting an MDC Revive call

An MDC Revive call revives a stunned transceiver to
normal operation.
(Menu > Signaling/Call > Call Menu > Revive)
1. Push [Menu] to display the Menu screen.
2. Push [Left] or [Right] to select "Signaling/Call,"
then push [OK].
3. Push [Up] or [Down] to select "Call Menu," then
push [OK].
4. Select "Revive," then push [OK].
5. Select a station ID, then push [PTT] to transmit an
MDC Revive call.
• "Success" is displayed after receiving an
acknowledgment from the target station.
• "Failed" is displayed if the target station does not send
back an acknowledgment.
TIP: Push [Call Menu] to directly display the "Call
Menu" screen in step 4 above.
D Transmitting an MDC Selective Call
(SelCall)
An MDC SelCall enables you to make a call to a
specifi c station, or to a particular group. Other MDC
1200 system transceivers on the channel do not
receive a SelCall that does not include the matching
station or group ID.
(Menu > Signaling/Call > Call Menu > SelCall)
1. Push [Menu] to display the Menu screen.
2. Push [Left] or [Right] to select "Signaling/Call,"
then push [OK].
3. Push [Up] or [Down] to select "Call Menu," then
push [OK].
4. Select "SelCall."
5. Select a station or group ID, then push [PTT] to
transmit an MDC SelCall.
• " " is displayed while transmitting the SelCall.
