Torque arms with shaft-mounted gearboxes

Torque arms can absorb the reaction torque and the weight force of the gearbox.
NOTICE
Danger of machine damage due to excess backlash
Excessive backlash of the torque arm can cause hazardous torque surges and thus
machine damage.
• Mount the torque arm in such a way that excessively high constraining forces do not

Danger of gearbox damage due to impermissible stress on the gearbox resulting from
incorrect installation
Incorrect installation of the torque arm can cause stress on the gearbox housing and thus
damage to the gearbox.
• Mount the torque arm so that it is free of stress.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to the rubber elements caused by solvents
Solvents, oils, greases, and fuels damage rubber elements.
• Avoid bringing the rubber elements into contact with solvents, oils, greases, and fuels.
Mounting torque arms on parallel shaft gearboxes
We recommend using pretensioned, damping rubber elements.
Fixing accessories such as brackets, bolts, nuts, etc., are not included in the scope of
supply.
