Procedure
1. Use petrol ether or a solvent to remove the anti-corrosion protection from the shaft ends
and flanges.
2. Check the seats or edges of the hollow and machine shafts for damage. Contact
Technical Support if you notice any damage.
3. Fit the gearbox with the shrink disk shaft onto the machine shaft
correct position and that the shrink disk seat completely covers the machine shaft
You have now mounted the hollow shaft with shrink disk.

NOTICE
Danger of deformation of the hollow shaft caused by tightening the tightening bolts
Tightening the tightening bolts before fitting the machine shaft can cause deformation of the
hollow shaft.
1. Install the machine shaft.
2. Tighten the tightening bolts.
