Devise measures to prevent the cables being damaged by rats or other possible causes.
Periodic Inspection
n
Inspect the following every month:
• The color of the silica gel. Changing colors indicate that moisture was absorbed. Check absorbency based on the
degree of color change.
• Check the drive for water or condensation from humidity or roof leaks.
• Check the interior and exterior of the drive for rust and corrosion.
NOTICE: Before turning on the power to the drive after a long period in storage, carefully check for moisture and dust.
Failure to comply could result in damage by fire or other damage.
